Each Scholar receives a thoughtfully chosen book or bottle of wine each month, along with Library Bar credit to enjoy tea, wine, and small plates in our cozy cafe. Members are also given priority access to author events, tastings, and our curated book and wine journeys, from intimate evenings in the shop to global literary and vineyard excursions.

*Price per person/couple. Exclusions apply including books on sale, some coffee table books, signed author copies, antiquarian, etc… Purchases must be only for personal use and cannot be resold. Scholar & Scribe reserves the right to decline any transaction that is not in the spirit of this membership program. Until the Library Bar opens, members who qualify for a free beverage can select their beverage from our cooler.

Yes! As a independent bookseller in a town of creators, we are very supportive of our local writing community. In fact, we host writing workshops and seminars to help local authors grow in their craft. Contact us to learn more!

We accept returns only on unread books in absolutely new condition, purchased at regular price from the store stock, within 30 days after purchase, or books that were defective from the printer. 

When we accept a return, we offer store credit only or in the case of a defective book, a replacement. We do not refund cash, credit cards, or checks. Store credit will be placed onto a store gift card for future use if you are unable to take the time to find a replacement item at the time of return.
