Our fiction selection for July is Moonbound by Robin Sloan. Our next meeting is Thursday July 25, 2024 – complete the form and be sure to purchase your copy at Scholar & Scribe to read beforehand!

Robin Sloan expands the Penumbraverse to new reaches of time and space in a rollicking far-future adventure.

In Moonbound, Robin Sloan has written a novel with the full scope and ambitious imagination of the very books that lit the engines of Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore: an epic quest as only Sloan could conceive it, mixing science fiction, fantasy, good old-fashioned literary storytelling, and unrivaled enthusiasm for what’s next.

If you purchase the audiobook through Libro.fm, send your receipt to hello@scholarandscribe.com to be added to the club.

Our nonfiction book club meets again on Tuesday, July 30th at 7pm! We’ll continue our study of Atomic Habits. No matter your goals, Atomic Habits offers a proven framework for improving–every day. James Clear, one of the world’s leading experts on habit formation, reveals practical strategies that will teach you exactly how to form good habits, break bad ones, and master the tiny behaviors that lead to remarkable results. No worries if you missed the first one – we’ll catch you up!

If you purchase the audiobook through Libro.fm, send your receipt to hello@scholarandscribe.com to be added to the club.

Join our Sunday Supper Club! Future meetups will be announced soon.
