About the book
“Monster Planet, Monster Truck!” is creative story about how a child’s imagination can make the impossible, possible. While sitting in class learning about the solar system our lead character imagines his favorite toy monster truck transforming into a rocket ship. He and his magical monster truck are able to travel to his favorite planet Jupiter where they transform the planet to be able to sustain life. His magical monster truck is like a Swiss army knife with many different gizmos and gadgets that help him build all the key elements needed to support life. He goes on side trips to the asteroid belt and Jupiter’s moon Europa to supply soil and water for his Jupiter world. He also introduces technology already used by astronauts today. While making the planet habitable is serious work our creative duo also just want to have some fun. Enjoy this fun and educational journey to outer space!
About the Author
Anne Swihart started her career as a scientist then turned entrepreneur. After having children she was inspired by them to write stories mirroring their incredible imaginations and common childhood struggles.
