Things to Do at Trilith: A Local’s Guide to Spending the Day
Come for an Hour. Stay for the Day.
Just south of Atlanta in Fayetteville, Georgia, the Town at Trilith is one of those places that’s best explored without too much of a schedule. Built alongside one of the country’s major film and television production communities, Trilith has grown into a walkable neighborhood filled with restaurants, independent shops, entertainment, green spaces, art, and places designed simply for gathering. You can browse a bookshop, linger over lunch, catch a movie, see a concert or show, play a round of virtual golf, explore the shops, and finish the evening over dinner or a glass of wine—all without leaving the Town at Trilith. If you’re visiting for the first time—or live nearby and haven’t explored lately—here’s how we’d spend the day.
Start with a Walk Around Town

Before deciding where to settle in, take a walk. Part of the charm of Trilith is the town itself. Wander the streets and you’ll find distinctive architecture, public art and sculptures, pocket parks, landscaped green spaces, and plenty of places to sit and watch the neighborhood go by. If you have more time, head toward the lake or explore some of the walking paths around the community. Trilith is a place that rewards wandering.
Browse an Independent Bookshop

We may be slightly biased about this one. Stop into Scholar & Scribe, Trilith’s independent bookstore, and spend some time browsing our shelves of thoughtfully selected books and gifts. We’re big believers that you don’t always need to know what you’re looking for when you walk into a bookstore. Pick something up because of the cover. Read the first page. Ask one of our booksellers what they’ve loved lately. And if you find something good, you don’t necessarily have to wait until you get home to start reading it.
Linger Over Tea

Once you’ve found your next read, take it with you into the Library Bar at Scholar & Scribe. During the day, order a tea, specialty tea drink, or one of our Afternoon Tea trays with your choice of pastry. Find a comfortable place to sit and give yourself permission not to hurry. Bring a friend and catch up. Bring a book and don’t. Either works.

Stop for Lunch
One of the pleasures of spending a day at Trilith is having plenty of choices when you get hungry. For something casual, Amici Italian Café offers pizza, wings, and Italian favorites, while CT Cantina & Taqueria is an easy stop when tacos and Mexican fare sound right. For sushi, try Sensu Sushi Restaurant & Bar, or make lunch itself part of the occasion at ENZO Steakhouse & Bar. You’ll also find bakeries, cafés, and other restaurants throughout the Town Centre, so sometimes the best plan is simply to walk until something looks good.
Explore the Shops
Leave some time between lunch and your next stop to browse. Trilith’s Town Centre includes a growing collection of independent boutiques and specialty businesses. You’ll find home and lifestyle shops, gifts, clothing, flowers, specialty foods, and plenty of things you weren’t necessarily planning to buy. That’s part of what makes Trilith work so well as a day out: you don’t need a major attraction or rigid itinerary. Walk. Browse. Eat. Discover something you weren’t planning to find.

Catch a Movie at Trilith Cinemas

There’s something particularly appropriate about catching a movie in a town built alongside one of the country’s major film production studios. GTC Trilith Cinemas brings a premium moviegoing experience right into the Town at Trilith, making it easy to turn a visit into a movie-and-dinner date or give yourself somewhere air-conditioned to settle in for a few hours during an afternoon of exploring. Check what’s playing, pick a showtime, and build the rest of your Trilith day around it.
Play at Fairway Social
If your group would rather play than watch, Fairway Social Trilith brings a little friendly competition into the day. Its sports simulators go well beyond golf, making it an easy option for families, groups of friends, dates, or anyone who wants to add something interactive to the itinerary. You can also grab food and drinks while you play. Competitive streaks are optional.
See What’s Happening at Trilith LIVE

Before you choose a date to visit, check the calendar at Trilith LIVE. Located right in the Town at Trilith, this major entertainment venue brings concerts, comedy, performing arts, live productions, community events, conferences, and other large-scale programming to Fayetteville. That means an ordinary evening at Trilith can easily become dinner and a show. If you’re coming specifically for a performance, arrive early. Browse the shops, stop into Scholar & Scribe, have dinner or a glass of wine, and then walk over to Trilith LIVE for the main event. Or reverse the order and make the Library Bar your post-show stop.

Take the Scenic Route
Not everything worth doing requires a ticket or reservation. Trilith includes parks, green spaces, public art, a lake, and walking paths that make it easy to build a little breathing room into the day. Take a walk after lunch. Find the lake. Look for some of the sculptures tucked throughout the community. Sit somewhere pretty for a while. Sometimes the best part of visiting a walkable town is simply walking it.
Stay for Wine
As afternoon turns into evening, come back to the Library Bar at Scholar & Scribe and trade the teapot for a wine glass. Explore our rotating wine list, order a glass or bottle, try a wine flight, and add something from the kitchen to share. On Wednesdays, Wine Wednesday brings rotating flights and featured selections designed around discovering and learning about wine. And on most Friday and Saturday evenings, depending on artist availability, the Library Bar features intimate live music chosen for the room—soft jazz, classic standards, acoustic favorites, and performances that leave room for conversation. It’s a lovely way to let a day at Trilith turn into an evening.

Make Dinner the Main Event
If you’re staying for dinner, you have plenty of options within walking distance. Make it an occasion at ENZO Steakhouse & Bar. Try sushi at Sensu, tacos at CT Cantina & Taqueria, or keep things relaxed at Amici Italian Café. You can also explore the restaurants and bars at Trilith Guesthouse or simply let wine and a few shared plates at the Library Bar stretch a little longer than expected. One of the best things about the Town at Trilith is that dinner doesn’t necessarily end the evening. You can keep wandering afterward.
Save Room for Gelato
Every good itinerary needs dessert. Honeysuckle Gelato Trilith is just steps away and makes a particularly good final stop after dinner, a movie, or an evening event. Grab a scoop and take one last walk through town. If you’ve spent the day properly, you should leave with a book under your arm, something good you’ve eaten, and at least one place you didn’t get to visit. That’s your excuse to come back.
Planning a Day at Trilith
The Town at Trilith is located in Fayetteville, Georgia, south of Atlanta and a short drive from Peachtree City. There’s no single right way to experience it. Come for lunch and a walk. Make it a mother-daughter afternoon. Plan a movie-and-dinner date. Bring the family to Fairway Social. Meet friends for wine. Get tickets to a show at Trilith LIVE and make an evening of it. Coming from farther away? Trilith Guesthouse makes it possible to turn your day at Trilith into an overnight stay, with the Town Centre’s restaurants, shops and entertainment just outside your door.
